What's the difference between a Workspace and a Private project?

When you create a project you choose Workspace Public or Private / Invite-Only, labeled Workspace and Private from then on. Workspace is the default: everyone in your workspace can open the project, and despite the name Workspace Public it is never reachable on the public web. Private narrows that to the people you invite onto the project, and is available on the Production and Custom plans. Neither setting puts a project in front of anyone outside your workspace; only a share link does that, and you decide who gets one.

How do I add decks, video, and PDFs to a project?

Add pitch decks straight from your workspace (each deck can only belong to one project at a time), and upload video and PDFs, the script, the budget, the one-sheet, directly into the project. Drag items into the order you want a recipient to move through them; that is the order they arrive in.

How do I send a whole project as one link?

Accepted Answer

Create a share link from the project and send that single URL. A recipient opens it once and sees every deck, video, and PDF you added, not a separate link per file, with the same password, expiration, and one-viewer controls you'd use on a pitch link. The link stays live, so anything you add to the project later becomes visible to everyone already holding it. There's no way to give one link a smaller set of items, so anything not meant for this audience belongs in a different project.

Can I customize how the package looks to recipients?

Yes, and the package carries your own look, not ours: your workspace name (plus your logo on Production and Custom), a header image or video, an intro message in your own voice, and an accent color, all set once for the project and shared by every link to it. Each link also gets its own Black or White theme, and the Package tab shows it live at desktop and phone size, so you know exactly what lands in the exec's inbox before you send it.

What does a recipient see when they open a project link?

On their first visit, most recipients land on a title card with your workspace name (plus your logo on Production and Custom), the project name, your message, and one button that opens the piece you want them to see first; switch to a list view and it collapses to a slim title bar from then on. Either way every item sits right there as cards or a list, and each item opens in place: a deck pages through, video plays with the next item queued up, and a script or a budget opens in a full reader with page navigation and search. One link, one sitting, and nothing to install.

Can a recipient comment on a script or budget PDF?

Yes. Turn comments on for the link and a recipient can highlight a line in a script or a number in a budget and leave a note pinned to that page and that quote, with no Pitchello account and nothing to install. Notes marked for everyone are visible to everyone holding the link; you also see the ones your team marked internal. A commenter can leave an email so you can follow up, and it is never shown to other viewers.

Are collaborators credited on a package?

Yes. The package carries a byline under the title, so the producer and the co-writer who built it with you are credited on the thing that goes out, not just whoever clicked New Project. It defaults to the person who created the project; add any workspace member from the Package tab.

Can I control what a recipient opens first?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Leave it on First item and the button opens whatever sits at the top of your list, or set an Open button target in the Package tab to send them somewhere specific, straight to the sizzle reel rather than the treatment. A target you set explicitly stays put even when you reorder everything around it.
