How do I share a pitch with someone outside Pitchello?

Open any pitch and create a share link from the share dialog. Viewers open your pitch in their browser without needing a Pitchello account. You can create multiple share links per pitch, each with its own permissions, for example one for a financier and one for your team.

How is a project link different from a pitch link?

A pitch link opens a single deck. A project link opens the whole package (every deck, video, and PDF you added to the project) behind one URL. Both are share links with the same password, expiration, and comment controls; a project link also carries the project's intro message and accent color, shared by every link to it, plus its own Black or White theme.

Can I password-protect a share link?

Yes. Set a password when you create or edit the link, and viewers are prompted to enter it before they can see the pitch or the items in the package. On a project link, your workspace name, the header image, the project name and description, the item count, and the name of who sent it are visible before the password; item names, covers, and your message are not. You can update or remove the password at any time from the share dialog.

Can I restrict a share link to one person or location?

Yes — use IP locking to restrict a link to a specific IP address. This is useful for office-based sharing when you know the viewer will access from a fixed network. Combine IP locking with a password for the tightest access.

How do I make a share link expire?

Accepted Answer

Set an expiration date in the share dialog. After that date the link stops working, and any open viewer sessions end. This is perfect for time-sensitive pitches like festival submissions or limited review windows.

Can viewers download the pitch or leave comments?

You decide per share link. Toggle comments on to invite feedback, or leave them off for a clean viewing experience. PDF download works the same way: enable it for clients who want a copy, or disable it to keep the content in-app only.

What is confidential mode on a share link?

Confidential mode overlays a "CONFIDENTIAL" watermark across every page and disables the browser right-click menu on a pitch. On a project link, the package page itself just shows a Confidential label; open a deck from inside the package and it carries the same watermark and right-click block, but the package's own PDF reader and video player do not. It's a visible deterrent against casual copying, not a technical block, so pair it with a password or IP lock for the tightest control. Confidential mode is available on the Production and Custom plans.
